Horwood and Parkin, authors of "Haida Gwaii the Queen Charlotte Islands" describe Haida Gwaii as "a mystical archipelago clinging to B.C.'s northern coast, and the ancient homeland of the Haida people". Translated, it means "Islands of the People". We will be based in Massett on the north end of Graham Island. Not the most ideal time of the year to be going weatherwise, we arrive in Massett on December 2nd. Stay tuned to see how we deal with it....
