Horwood and Parkin, authors of "Haida Gwaii the Queen Charlotte Islands", describe Haida Gwaii as "a mystical archipelago clinging to B.C.'s northern coast, and the ancient homeland of the Haida People." Translated it means 'Islands of the People'. We will be staying in Massett on Graham Island for the month of December. Not the best time of year to be going, as we've been informed by several people, but what the hey...stay tuned and see how we deal with it. We'll be arriving in Massett on December 2nd.
